| Service Description: | The CCPP focuses on impacting community-level change to prevent substance abuse and works to change peoples perceptions, attitudes and habits around substance abuse. Committee members participate in and provide direction for each step of the prevention process from planning through implementation. The CCPP committee meets monthly and welcomes interested participants at any time. CCPP is optimistic about its capacity to bring positive change to Costilla County. The committee is an open group and parents, teachers, officials, youth and other community members are encouraged to join us and find out ways you can be involved in this process.---------- El CCPP se centra en lograr cambios a nivel comunitario para prevenir el abuso de sustancias y trabaja para cambiar las percepciones, actitudes y hábitos de las personas en torno al abuso de sustancias. Los miembros del comité participan y brindan dirección para cada paso del proceso de prevención, desde la planificación hasta la implementación. El comité del CCPP se reúne mensualmente y da la bienvenida a los participantes interesados ??en cualquier momento.
